24% owner of an S-corp denied distributions am I still liable for tax?So my father (49%) owned a business with his partner (51%) and after my father passed I inherited 24% of the company and my stepmother got 25%. The 51% owner terminated my stepmother as an emplyee and we have not been able to take distributions not sure what to do next.
